The famous Pennine Way National Trail was the first continuous walking route to be created along the Pennine chain. When completed, the Pennine Bridleway National Trail will be the country’s longest trail for mountain biking and horse riding. Since the completion of the Pennine Cycleway and the Trans Pennine Trail there are now four different ways for those in search of achievable challenges to get high on the Pennines.
