The Ridgeway is Romantic!

24th February 2014

Its official, the highest point in Oxfordshire, White Horse Hill in Uffington is the second most romantic place in the south east.  That is according to the thousands of couples who sent in recommendations to the eHarmony website.

The Ridgeway skirts along the south side of the Hill and touches the outer ramparts of this Iron Age Hill fort from where you can enjoy views over six counties.  The Bronze Age white horse is just off The Ridgeway to the north and the whole area is well worth exploring.

The Hill, 6½ miles (or 10km) west of Wantage, is managed by The National Trust and further information can be found on their website.
