The Path is Drying Out!

18th March 2014

We have yet to inspect the whole of the Trail following the recent floods and strong winds but have received some useful reports from other walkers.

Gill and Nigel have told us that they have walked from the source to Newbridge near Oxford and only encountered some flooding in one field west of Cricklade.  Generally walking through the water meadows was fine and totally accessible but muddy in places especially around gateways.

John has told us that he has walked from Henley to Sonning, which was a but boggy in places, but he adds it was all passable in trainers - no need for wellies!

As Spring now appears to be heading our way why not enjoy a walk by the River?  Please let us know how you got on so we can pass on the information to other walkers.
