Water, water everywhere

12th February 2014

The River Thames has burst its banks and flooded the Thames Path in many areas all the way from the source to London.  At the moment the Environment Agency (Wednesday 12/2/14) has issued 16 severe flood warnings, 41 flood warnings and 25 flood alerts for the River and further details can be viewed on their website.

If you want to see the scale of the flooding in some areas visit the BBC website. Please do not attempt to walk through flood water as it is dangerous not only for yourself but also for those who will have to rescue you.

For a drier walk why not try The Ridgeway National Trail
