Flooding Along The Thames Path

If you are planning a walk along the Thames Path, please be aware that due to heavy rainfall the surface condition of the Thames Path may have deteriorated and some areas may be under water, or thick with mud. These areas will be mainly - but not wholly - around the upper reaches of the Thames towards the source.  We advise walkers not to walk through flood water and not to use The Thames Path during a flood event.
Flood warnings and alerts can be found online at the Environment Agency website. They will not show the state of the Trail but may indicate where vulnerable areas are:
