Flooding update: Windsor and Maidenhead sections

In Windsor and Maidenhead most of the sections of Thames Path affected by the emergency  closures are still flooded.  The linking footpath  from Hurley village to Hurley Lock has been reopened  and the section of Thames Path (Hurley FP 1) that runs eastwards from the Lock to Temple Bridge  is now passable. Although the flood waters are going down, many sections between Hurley, Cookham, Datchet, New Windsor and Old Windsor are still under water.

Flood warnings and alerts can be found online at the Environment Agency website. They will not show the state of the Trail but may indicate where vulnerable areas are:
