Stonetrail is a BHS approved centre specialising in multi-day guided trail rides across Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales. We are situated on the fellside at the foot of Wild Boar fell approx. 2 miles from Ravenstonedale and a 5 min ride from the Pennine Bridleway .
We offer stabling, grazing and accommodation for horse and riders ( and a hot tub, perfect treat at the end of a long ride !!)
Stonetrail has been offering guided trail rides along the Pennine Bridleway between Ravenstonedale and Settle using a team of our own horses for the last 10 years. Alison was honoured to be asked to accompany Martin Clunes at the official opening of the Pennine Bridleway in 2012 and we consider this route to be our flagship ride. If you wish to ride the trail with your own horse Alison is happy to share information about where to stay along the route. Aiming to start or finish your ride at Stonetrail is a good choice with stabling, grazing, box parking and accommodation available. Alternatively you can enjoy a centre based holiday at Stonetrail and park and ride sections of the trail from our centre. We also have an extensive choice of day routes from the centre which you can enjoy using our easy to follow maps.
We have 5 luxury self-catering cottages which overlook the paddocks and an indoor spa room. Towels & fluffy robes provided. We have a lovely inn serving evening meals within walking distance.
