The Rowe House is a charming Georgian Long House with 1 acre of grounds nestled at the Western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Recently renovated and upgraded.
Location, Location, Location. We are situated in a picturesque setting close to the Three Yorkshire Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, 200m from the 3YP challenge route and just 400m from the Pennine and Ribble Ways. 6 miles from Settle and a few minutes drive from the Cumbria and Lancashire borders. As Geoffrey Boycott says, ‘ God’s own country’. Visitors can relax, enjoy our hospitality, and appreciate the stunning scenery.
In addition to luxury Bed & Breakfast in The Rowe House we are now able to invite Caravans and Motorhomes to stay on The Croft, our CAMC CL site within our adjoining paddock and a self contained room only facility.
Horton has its own railway station a 5-minute walk away from The Rowe House, the first stop on the Settle – Carlisle railway line, with connections via Leeds direct to Kings Cross and Edinburgh. Pennine Way walkers can stay 2 or more nights whilst walking the Gargrave to Keld sections, check with us for information.
We’ve developed the walled garden to bring fresh produce straight to the dining table and use Fairtrade goods e.g. coffee, tea, sugar, and chocolate bars.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Rowe House.
