Whether you are looking to go on a walking holiday, riding holiday, activity holiday or simply a leisurely break in stunning surroundings then Rushop Hall has something to offer you. You can tailor make your own holiday experience by choosing to either take advantage of our luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation or self cater in one of our stand alone holiday cottages. You can even bring your horse with you if you wish and if you want the occasional "night in" without having to cook for yourself then you can take advantage of our superb Evening Meal service.
Rushop Hall is a Grade 2 listed building, nestling in the fabulous Peak District National Park. It has been recently renovated to retain a wealth of beautiful original features complimented by the sympathetic provision of all the modern amenities - the best of both worlds!
The B&B accommodation comprises 3 rooms; 2 doubles and a twin with en-suite shower rooms. All the rooms are generously proportioned and beautifully appointed, with modern conveniences such as TV & DVD and tea and coffee making facilities. For those who fancy a relaxing tipple whilst taking in the stunning views we also provide wine or beer!
There is a private guest sitting room where you can put your feet up, and take in the fantastic views whilst enjoying a well earned cup of tea, or perhaps something stronger! For those preferring peace and tranquillity, there is also a quiet reading area.
A stay in an English farmhouse would not be complete without a full farmhouse breakfast, including; locally sourced bacon and sausage from the farm, free-range eggs, field mushrooms, freshly baked bread, butter, preserves, etc. For vegetarians we are always happy to provide a delicious meat free breakfast.
Situated on The Pennine Bridleway between Castleton and Chapel-en-le-Frith and approximately 4 km from The Pennine Way at Edale, Rushop Hall is an ideal place to base yourself for exploring the surrounding areas of the White and Dark Peaks. Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and The Pennine Way are all within easy reach and it is only 500 meters from the open moorlands leading to Hayfield and Kinder beyond.
