Adjoining a country house, the 3 bedroom self catering holiday cottage is a gem of a find, full of character and furnished to a high standard throughout.

Enjoy a bottle of wine on the private terrace, gaze across at race horses cantering on the Downs or simply lounge around the heated outdoor swimming pool.

The spacious, comfortable lounge, complete with flat screen TV, Sky TV, iPod docking and stereo system, provides a relaxing room for all the family, with French doors overlooking the expansive gardens.

The light and airy diner-kitchen includes a wall-mounted TV, double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave, and all the utensils to enjoy a self catering holiday let.  A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The spacious master bedroom with a kingsize bed is on the first floor, with views over the South Downs towards the sea. Across the landing is a family bathroom, complete with bath, separate walk-in shower and bidet.

A further two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, offering flexible family accommodation; one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. There is a second bathroom, again with bath and separate walk-in shower.

There is free WiFi throughout, a gravel driveway with generous parking and all linen and towels are provided, together with a welcome pack of goodies such as milk, tea and coffee to get you started.

The beach is within easy access, there are many quaint villages nearby, and a wealth of interesting historical and cultural attractions to visit.  And if you’re looking for a bigger social scene, Eastbourne is only four miles away and even Brighton is just a bus ride or drive away with its cosmopolitan cafes, shops and nightlife.
