Y Garth B&B is an awesome location for walkers. The numbers and variety of walks are literally endless. Whether you prefer gentle strolls along the valleys or coasts or more strenuous rambles and scrambles in the hills and mountains there are an array of adventures for everybody.
If you want to enjoy the amazing coastal walks around the 186 miles Pembrokeshire Coastal Path or explore the Preseli mountains it doesn't mean you have to forgo the luxury you yearn for after a hard day's walking.   Our 5* accommodation will give you total relaxation in deep comfortable beds, invigorating power showers and set you up with a very generous breakfast ready for the day ahead. 

Y Garth is run by Joyce Evans whose design skills have been used to great effect to create three different but equally sumptuous double/twin bedrooms.   "I always strive to exceed my guests' expectations" said Joyce whose friendly Welsh welcome sets the scene for an enjoyable and rewarding stay.

Served with generous portions of locally sourced ingredients Joyce's breakfasts have earned her a breakfast award for the past 6 years.   Wide selection of breakfast options.   Evening meals and packed lunches available - but must be pre-ordered.

The prices at Y Garth B&B offer real value for money and are based on two people sharing a double/twin bedded room and include Joyce's renowned breakfasts.  From £90 per room our rates are very competitive with guest houses and hotels in the area with lower star ratings. 

We are located in the village of Dinas Cross on the main Fishguard to Newport main road (A487).  Excellent local bus services - (Richards Bros T5 bus every hour) enable you to stay at Y Garth and walk different sections of the path each day.  Why not make use of the excellent shuttle bus service for hikers - the Poppit Rocket  (May to Sept) to transport you to and fro from the coastpath at different points  www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/coastbus .   Not only will you be able to leave most of your luggage  behind, but you will get the opportunity to see some of inland Pembrokeshire as well.  The bus stop is just 100metres from Y Garth.  You can get off the bus in Fishguard and catch another service bus to St Davids should you wish.
