Rudstone Walk is located at the southern part of the Yorkshire Wolds Way at the edge of South Cave amongst the country side. This lovely village is surrounded by beautiful country side views, and the South Cave Wold Circular is the perfect way to view them. This 5.5-mile journey will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete although many short walks can be formulated. This route has a range of track, headland and minor road walking.
Starting in the centre of south cave, you will make your way along the A1034 towards the small village of Ellerker. This unspoilt village is the ideal stopping place with its peaceful surroundings and large village green. The field path from Ellerker leads onto the minor road and into Brantingham.
Brantingham is an attractive village with one of the most photographed churches in the Country, with a background of tree lined hills and a foreground of quaint country cottages. Follow the steep hills of the Wolds Way up to Mount Airy, where you can take in the excellent views of the Humber and Lincolnshire to the South and across the Vale of York to the West.
From here follow the farm track on to Beverley Road and back into South Cave where Rudstone Walk’s complimentary drop off and pick up service will come and collect you.
