This unusual museum is housed in the almost 400 year-old schoolroom that featured in Thomas Hughes’ book ‘Tom Brown’s School Days’, and contains an interesting collection of artifacts and exhibits which help visitors to understand the history and archaeology of the area.

The Museum is open from 2pm to 5pm each Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from Easter until the end of October. The Curator will be pleased to arrange visits at other times for parties or for special research.

There is no charge for admission during normal opening hours.
