My friend Beverley and I walked the first half of Offa's Dyke trail in May 2015 and really enjoyed the route, the scenery and the lovely bluebell woods. We were fortunate to have a really sunny week with only one morning of rain. We found the 'switchback' section challenging but returned in May 2016 to complete the trail. Again we had a lovely sunny week with only one afternoon of rain and enjoyed the beautiful Welsh countryside, the canals, the hill forts and the amazing Telford's aqueduct. The finish was spectacular along the cliff tops with the blue sea as our goal. Needless to say we finished with a paddle! A really lovely walk from start to finish, plenty of hills to climb and wonderful scenery every day. We thoroughly recommend the Offa's Dyke trail to other walkers.
