My Brother and I set off from Prestatyn on 25th Sept 2018 and our intention was to complete the trail, fully self-supported and camping, in 10 days. We were blessed with great weather thorough out although day 2 was a little blustery to say the least. Our shortest day on the trail was 16 miles and our longest was 26 miles. We completed Offas Dyke Trail in 9 days. The trial is very well signed for the most part. We missed a turn on a couple of occasions but that was our fault for not keeping an eye out. On a few other occasions the signage looked like it was pointing in the wrong direction across a field. Worst case scenario we would have to walk to a different corner. No big deal.Scenery and people we met along the way were amazing.
