My Dad and I started the walk from Chepstow back in Oct 2014.Whenever we could, we'd grab a w/e and pick the route up from where we last left off and grab a couple of days walking the amazing trail. Staying at pubs, B&Bs and camping pods along the way. My faithful Labradoodle, Beau joining us along much of the route. Throughtout the journey I was amazed by the lush British countryside and stunning view points. We walked in all seasons but very rarely faced poor weather, more luck than judgement! So after 13 sections, on 22nd May 2016 we found ourselves on the decsent into Prestatyn. As is the custom I removed my socks and bathed my feet in the cool sea. This was the second time my father has completed the walk, first doing it back in 1992, some 24 years earlier. On this occasion he was 82, possibly one of the older walkers who've completed this walk! I hope I can do the same with my son in the future.Guy Wells
