Myself and 3 other friends completed the 177 mile Offas Dyke Trail over 10 days and raised over £2000 for two charities, Macmillan Cancer Research and Lymphoma and Leukaemia Research. We started at the official start point in Chepstow on the Sedbury cliffs on Saturday 20th June and then followed the path camping at various places along the way. Chepstow to Monmouth, Monmouth to Pandy, Pandy to Hay-on-Wye, Hay-on-Wye to Dolley Green, Dolley Green to Newcastle, Newcastle to Welshpool, Welshpool to Llangollen, Llangollen to Llandegla, Llandegla to Bodfari and finally Bodfari to Prestatyn. It was such an amazing experience. We met some truly wonderful people along the way and walked through spectacular scenery. The toughest part was walking over 30 miles in one single day, it was the hardest endurance task of my life. It it was truly a great honour raising awareness and loads of money for these two great worthy charities and such a memorable experience that I personally will never forget.
