After loosing my dad to a long battle with Lewi Body Dementia, I wanted a way to support the cause and raise awareness of the disease. The trail was also a way to spend time in dads memory and was a very special walk for me. It is an incredibly beautiful route and I am very grateful to all those who maintain it. I am not sure if I had a favourite section but I certainly had all weathers - of course! The temperature averaged 29 degrees for the 3 days between Pandy and Knighton which I think was the biggest challenge. I'd love to return and spend time in those hills again.
