The Yarn Market Hotel, Dunster, Exmoor National Park
The Yarn Market Hotel is ideally located in the centre of the medieval village of Dunster in the beautiful Exmoor National Park. There is a castle at the end of the street and the West Somerset Railway is close by. There are many events in the village and local area throughout the year, and the area is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and wildlife watching, or just for a relaxing break.
The hotel has double, twin and family rooms, all of which are en-suite with television and tea and coffee trays. The Dunster rooms have king size beds, and are more spacious, and there are also four-poster rooms. Most rooms have either a view over the village or the surrounding countryside. Pets are most welcome at the hotel in the dog-friendly rooms.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of meals using local produce whenever possible, served by friendly staff. There is a good wine list and locally brewed beers and ciders available to accompany your meal.
For walkers there are excellent facilities, the hotel has a boot and drying room, and maps and guided walk information are readily available combined with local knowledge to enable you to make your stay more enjoyable. The long distance South West Coast Path starts just two miles from the hotel, and it is centrally placed for the Coleridge Way trail. The hotel also specialises in tailor-made packages for walking groups. For cyclists there is a storage area for bikes and advice available on routes. The hotel also has two electric bikes which can be hired out.
Activity breaks covering a wide range of subjects are on the schedule throughout the year, including choral weekends, craft and artist breaks and stargazing events. Please look at the website for details of what is offered.
The hotel is non-smoking throughout, and is a member of the Visit Britain Pets Welcome, Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes. It is open all year and offers Christmas and New Year packages.

Channel View is a family run park situated on the beautiful Somerset coastline. We are the only touring park on Brean Sands that offers beachside pitches with uninterrupted views of our golden sands and dramatic headland.
The park is seasonal and opens up a third field during the peak season called The Meadow, which is located over the road from the main site and is ideal for tents as there is plenty of space.

We are ideally located close enough to still enjoy the bars and entertainment on the famous Brean strip but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep in beautiful surroundings. There is a pub within walking distance and a laundrette and corner shop close by.
All residents have free access to the beach during their stay. Dogs are permitted on leads whilst in the park but can run free on the beach. There is a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch.
There are two toilet and shower blocks, with washing-up areas and a disabled room.

Yew Tree House is a beautiful old house situated on a quiet lane close to the main road that links Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. Berrow beach with its the golden dunes, sandy beach and coastal path is a ten minute walk away through Berrow Nature Reserve. The holiday resort of Brean with attractions and places to eat and drink is within walking distance.

Cassia is a bespoke Shepherd’s Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes it is perfect for walking and bird watching, a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is a five-minute drive away.
This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders. Migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
Finished to a high standard with luxury bedding and towels from Portugal, there is a certified log burner with firewood supplied, plus central heating, fully insulated with sheep’s wool for those cold winter nights. There is a cooker, hob and fridge and, for those very warm evenings, there is a fan and an air cooler available.
Cassia has its own toilet and shower and a small private patio with table and chairs. Tea, coffee and some milk are provided. Cassia has its own internet connection, but this can be unpredictable out here in the country.
Opposite Cassia there is another holiday let The Snug which can also be booked if you want to travel with friends.
There is ample parking and use of the owner’s garden, plus a small patio area at the front of the hut for your own personal use.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of meals using local produce whenever possible, served by friendly staff. There is a good wine list and locally brewed beers and ciders available to accompany your meal.
For walkers there are excellent facilities, the hotel has a boot and drying room, and maps and guided walk information are readily available combined with local knowledge to enable you to make your stay more enjoyable. The long distance South West Coast Path starts just two miles from the hotel, and it is centrally placed for the Coleridge Way trail. The hotel also specialises in tailor-made packages for walking groups. For cyclists there is a storage area for bikes and advice available on routes. The hotel also has two electric bikes which can be hired out.
Activity breaks covering a wide range of subjects are on the schedule throughout the year, including choral weekends, craft and artist breaks and stargazing events. Please look at the website for details of what is offered.

Channel View is a family run park situated on the beautiful Somerset coastline. We are the only touring park on Brean Sands that offers beachside pitches with uninterrupted views of our golden sands and dramatic headland.
The park is seasonal and opens up a third field during the peak season called The Meadow, which is located over the road from the main site and is ideal for tents as there is plenty of space.
There is a minimum 2 night bookings on weekends and 5 night booking on Premier Electric Pitches (caravans and motorhomes only), reduced stay bookings may be available last minute – please phone to enquire regarding availability.
We are ideally located close enough to still enjoy the bars and entertainment on the famous Brean strip but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep in beautiful surroundings. There is a pub within walking distance and a laundrette and corner shop close by.
All residents have free access to the beach during their stay. Dogs are permitted on leads whilst in the park but can run free on the beach. There is a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch.
There are two toilet and shower blocks, with washing-up areas and a disabled room.
Somerset Leisure also operates two static caravan sites – Happy Days and Skoorbland.

Yew Tree House is a beautiful old house situated on a quiet lane close to the main road that links Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. It is an ideal place to stay if you would like to walk north along the coast path to Brean Down and Weston or south along the coast path to Burnham-on-Sea and on towards Bridgwater.

Every booking includes a home cooked breakfast, which is served between 8am and 9.30am. There are a variety of delicious breakfasts to choose from and we cater for most dietary requirements. Each breakfast order is freshly prepared and cooked using local ingredients where possible.
Berrow beach with its the golden dunes, sandy beach and coastal path is a ten minute walk away through Berrow Nature Reserve. The holiday resort of Brean with attractions and places to eat and drink is within walking distance.
Yew Tree House is just ten minutes’ drive from Junction 22 of the M5.

Old Rectory House is a family run smallholding and luxury farm stay in Kilve, Somerset, offering a unique opportunity to holiday within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Quantock Hills.
The Coach House and our shepherd huts are a sanctuary, nestled in a countryside haven with stunning sea views.
Guests staying in The Coach House have their own private outdoor swimming pool, pool house and hot tub. The pool is heated and the season runs from April to October.
Guests in the shepherd huts have the luxury of their own private wood-fired hot tub with spectacular countryside and coastal views.
Dogs are welcome in The Coach House but the shepherd huts are close to livestock so can not accommodate pets. There is a two night minimum stay in the shepherd huts and three nights in The Coach House.
Rare-breed/zero food miles/free-range breakfast packs are available for all of our guests.
Our guests are free to explore our stunning grounds which include a walled orchard and a willow tunnel taking you to our croquet lawn. There are peaceful seating areas nestled within the wild flower meadow where you can take in the sea views and enjoy a picnic. In the evening, relax around the fire pit, toasting marshmallows while stargazing.

Cassia is a bespoke Shepherd’s Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes it is perfect for walking and bird watching, a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is a five-minute drive away.
This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders. Migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
Finished to a high standard with luxury bedding and towels from Portugal, there is a certified log burner with firewood supplied, plus central heating, fully insulated with sheep’s wool for those cold winter nights. There is a cooker, hob and fridge and, for those very warm evenings, there is a fan and an air cooler available.
Cassia has its own toilet and shower and a small private patio with table and chairs. Tea, coffee and some milk are provided. Cassia has its own internet connection, but this can be unpredictable out here in the country.
Opposite Cassia there is another holiday let The Snug which can also be booked if you want to travel with friends.
There is ample parking and use of the owner’s garden, plus a small patio area at the front of the hut for your own personal use.

Opposite The Snug is Cassia Shepherd’s Hut that can also be booked if you want to travel with friends.

Westward Rise lies between the coast road and the famous Brean Sands which stretch for 7 golden miles to the resort town of Burnham-on-sea. The Beach can be reached by our own private secured pathway through the dunes, with no roads to cross.
Our Holiday Park’s accommodation comprises two bedroom Chalet-Bungalows which are open all year round with central heating during the colder winter months. Dogs are welcome and there is a launderette available with free ironing facilities and ample parking.
The Holiday Park has a host of seasonal entertainment and amenities within easy walking distance. Shops, Restaurants, Takeaways, Clubs and Amusements are a stroll away. So too is Brean Leisure Park with its Funfair, Indoor Swimming Pool, Golf Course, Restaurant, Cabaret Club, Markets & Car Boot Sales.

All residents have free access to the beach during their stay. Dogs are permitted on leads whilst in the park but can run free on the beach. There is a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch.
There are two toilet and shower blocks, with washing-up areas and a disabled room.

Berrow beach with its the golden dunes, sandy beach and coastal path is a ten minute walk away through Berrow Nature Reserve. The holiday resort of Brean with attractions and places to eat and drink is within walking distance.

Cassia is a bespoke Shepherd’s Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes it is perfect for walking and bird watching, a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is a five-minute drive away.
This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders. Migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
Finished to a high standard with luxury bedding and towels from Portugal, there is a certified log burner with firewood supplied, plus central heating, fully insulated with sheep’s wool for those cold winter nights. There is a cooker, hob and fridge and, for those very warm evenings, there is a fan and an air cooler available.
Cassia has its own toilet and shower and a small private patio with table and chairs. Tea, coffee and some milk are provided. Cassia has its own internet connection, but this can be unpredictable out here in the country.
Opposite Cassia there is another holiday let The Snug which can also be booked if you want to travel with friends.
There is ample parking and use of the owner’s garden, plus a small patio area at the front of the hut for your own personal use.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of meals using local produce whenever possible, served by friendly staff. There is a good wine list and locally brewed beers and ciders available to accompany your meal.
For walkers there are excellent facilities, the hotel has a boot and drying room, and maps and guided walk information are readily available combined with local knowledge to enable you to make your stay more enjoyable. The long distance South West Coast Path starts just two miles from the hotel, and it is centrally placed for the Coleridge Way trail. The hotel also specialises in tailor-made packages for walking groups. For cyclists there is a storage area for bikes and advice available on routes. The hotel also has two electric bikes which can be hired out.
Activity breaks covering a wide range of subjects are on the schedule throughout the year, including choral weekends, craft and artist breaks and stargazing events. Please look at the website for details of what is offered.

We are ideally located close enough to still enjoy the bars and entertainment on the famous Brean strip but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep in beautiful surroundings. There is a pub within walking distance and a laundrette and corner shop close by.
All residents have free access to the beach during their stay. Dogs are permitted on leads whilst in the park but can run free on the beach. There is a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch.
There are two toilet and shower blocks, with washing-up areas and a disabled room.

Berrow beach with its the golden dunes, sandy beach and coastal path is a ten minute walk away through Berrow Nature Reserve. The holiday resort of Brean with attractions and places to eat and drink is within walking distance.

Cassia is a bespoke Shepherd’s Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes it is perfect for walking and bird watching, a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is a five-minute drive away.
This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders. Migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
Finished to a high standard with luxury bedding and towels from Portugal, there is a certified log burner with firewood supplied, plus central heating, fully insulated with sheep’s wool for those cold winter nights. There is a cooker, hob and fridge and, for those very warm evenings, there is a fan and an air cooler available.
Cassia has its own toilet and shower and a small private patio with table and chairs. Tea, coffee and some milk are provided. Cassia has its own internet connection, but this can be unpredictable out here in the country.
Opposite Cassia there is another holiday let The Snug which can also be booked if you want to travel with friends.
There is ample parking and use of the owner’s garden, plus a small patio area at the front of the hut for your own personal use.

We have accommodation for up to 28 guests at Swallows Rest including three ground floor bedrooms with king size beds.We're on the South West Coastal Path, ideally situated for walkers, climbers, sailors and lovers of all water sports. The National Sailing Academy, Portland and Weymouth are all within 2 miles of the farm. It's possible to walk into Weymouth and Portland in less than an hour, and buses run frequently from stops nearby. In the village of Wyke Regis, a five minute walk from the farm, we have the fabulous Wyke Smugglers Pub serving gourmet food, the excellent Khazana Indian Restaurant, the Award Winning Daniels Fish & Chip takeaway and the famous Crab House Cafe.
