The cottage is situated in an idyllic part of West Wales, which is very close to one of Wales premier surf beaches. Built in 1890 as an Almshouse, with its thick stone walls, and wooden beams the property lends itself well, to a more traditional style of interior design. On entering you are immediately greeted by an open plan arrangement, which makes use of the large bay window and south facing aspect, to create a pleasant ambience of calmness and tranquillity. A fully equipped kitchen and large comfortable lounge with its charming fireplace and log burner, provides the perfect setting to dine on that freshly caught mackerel. Two large bedrooms with double beds and an adjoining smaller child’s bedroom with bunk beds, means that up to four adults and two children can be easily accommodated at any one time.  The yard at the rear catches the morning sun and provides a nice place to enjoy your breakfast whilst planning the day’s activities. The white washed boundary wall can be used as a novel alternative to a guest book, so please feel free to sign your name, draw a picture or describe a memorable moment of your holiday.There is ample room for parking to the front of the property and a grassed area for the children/dogs to play.  Just the other side of the hedge boundary is a play park with swings and slides for extra playtimes.

2 Tregroes Cottages is a delightful, semi-detached, stone cottage, surrounded by countryside. It is situated on a quiet lane just one and a half miles from the picturesque harbour town of Fishguard on the Pembrokeshire Coast, with its quaint harbour and range of facilities. The nearest pub is approximately one mile away serving traditional pub food. The nearest railway station is five minutes by car.Fishguard town itself has many shops, cafes and pubs and restaurants, there is also a good leisure centre and swimming pool for those rainy days. The cottage is situated in an idyllic part of West Wales, which is very close to one of Wales premier surf beaches. Built in 1890 as an Almshouse, with its thick stone walls, and wooden beams the property lends itself well, to a more traditional style of interior design. On entering you are immediately greeted by an open plan arrangement, which makes use of the large bay window and south facing aspect, to create a pleasant ambience of calmness and tranquillity. A fully equipped kitchen and large comfortable lounge with its charming fireplace and log burner, provides the perfect setting to dine on that freshly caught mackerel. Two large bedrooms with double beds and an adjoining smaller child’s bedroom with bunk beds, means that up to four adults and two children can be easily accommodated at any one time.  The yard at the rear catches the morning sun and provides a nice place to enjoy your breakfast whilst planning the day’s activities. It is situated on a quiet lane just one and a half miles from the picturesque harbour town of Fishguard on the Pembrokeshire Coast, with its quaint harbour and range of facilities.
