The Dunes Café is nestled on the clifftop at Crimdon beach. Currently open Monday – Sunday 10am until 4pm, it offers a range of simple hot and cold food and drinks. You can enjoy the stunning views out across miles of sandy beaches and the North East coast, and down towards Hartlepool and beyond. Lovely in both summer and winter, it is a well placed stop along this stretch of the England Coast Path.

The Dunes has a fully equipped meeting / educational room with state of the art technology that can be hired by groups to use. Walkers can also top up their water bottles here for free. Fully accessible and adapted toilets and shower facilities are also available here too.

The Cafe also hosts a 2-minute beach cleaning station with equipment for visitors to use in their own time.
