Moraine is a cosy cottage ideal for walking and cycling along the coast or a base for a relaxing holiday in the fascinating village of Ravenscar, 'The town that never was!' This stone cottage accomodates upto 5 people in three bedrooms all with sea views. It has a log burner stove (logs provided), a washer/ dryer and dishwasher, enclosed garden and private parking for 2 cars.
Walking/cycling routes passing through the village include the Cleveland Way, England Coastal Path, Lyke Wake Walk and “The Cinder Track”.There are breath-taking views of the North York Moors, the Heritage Coast and Robin Hood's Bay from the walking and cycling trails centred on the village.
It’s a short stroll to the local hotel with its Panorama Restaurant and public bar. There are also excellent village pubs and inns serving up great local produce in the local area. Ravenscar is a perfect base for exploring the North York Moors and "Heartbeat" country, as well as coastal fishing villages and the resorts of Whitby and Scarborough with their shops and beaches. The secluded Stoupe Beck Sands are less than 3 miles away (dogs allowed all year). Nearby local attractions include the Peak Alum Works (National Trust), Scarborough Castle, Whitby Abbey and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.
