Set in a beautiful private nature reserve around a stream-fed lake teeming with wildlife; The Tranquil Otter is an ideal to wind down after a long journey on foot. We have eight 5* Luxury Lodges each with breathtaking views across the Lough.
In each lodge, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and bedrooms with fabulous views of the lake, a private deck with the option of the hot tub and overlooking of the Lough perfect for your final stop on Hadrian’s Wall. You can simply relax and unwind whilst gazing across the lake and its own glorious birdlife.
Optional extras are available to purchase prior to arrival, reward yourself with a yummy Barbeque with meats supplied by the local butcher or a massage from our massage therapist.
Each lodge has a well-equipped kitchen, log fire, Smart TV, with DVD player, high-speed internet, hot tub and boat.
Guests are welcome to walk in the woodlands, boat on the lake and walk around the lake and let the kids safely explore. A bird hide is available to all our guests.
With our high-speed internet guests can share photos with family and friends. Our guest handbook provides information about things to do locally.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangements.
