FSC Malham Tarn is a field studies centre accommodating approx 100 in 29 bedrooms with a mix of 6 and 4 bed dorm rooms, twins and triples. Most rooms contain at least one bunk bed. 21 of these rooms are en-suite and one of these is designed for disabled visitors.
There are two common rooms with TVs, recreation areas containing a pool table, table football and board games, a library and tea room with hot and cold drink making facilities. Outside relaxation areas include a courtyard, veranda and picnic benches, a lawn and walled garden.
The centre is located within the Malham Tarn National Nature Reserve with the Pennine Way passing right outside the door. It occupies a woodland setting with stunning views over Malham Tarn and offers a tranquil sense of remoteness. The grounds include a complex of wetland areas and the Limestone features of Malham Cove and Goredale Scar are within walking distance.
Please note that the centre does not have a function room large enough to accommodate 90 people. Several classrooms seating 35 - 40 are available.
