This peaceful hillside comprises grassland and woodland reserves linked by The Ridgeway. The grasslands are home to a fantastic array of wildflowers and over thirty species of butterfly (including Essex skippers, marbled whites, green hairstreak, brown argus, and the scarce grizzled and dingy skippers) in the spring and summer. There are some impressive ancient beech trees along the Trail in the woodland.
Parking spaces can be found in various laybys on Northfield Road.
