Blow away the cobwebs with a bracing walk along the cliff top path, and you can see across to the Isle of Man and Scotland on a clear day. In spring and summer, a stop at the RSPBs three viewpoints will allow you to marvel at the largest seabird colony in north-west England. Guillemots, kittiwakes, fulmars and razorbills wheel noisily overhead, while ravens and peregrines are often seen soaring along the cliffs. Offshore, you can also see skuas and shearwaters and if you are lucky you may spot dolphins and porpoises.
