This spacious terraced cottage will comfortably accommodate up to five guests with two bedrooms, and an additional room on the first floor with a futon-style sofa bed that can either be used as an additional living/reading room or as an additional sleeping space for the fifth person. The ground floor living area has dividing doors between the living room and kitchen, so the two rooms can either be separated or kept open-plan, making the space lovely and bright. Outside there is a small, enclosed, rear yard and garden which backs on to the brook, ideal for your four-legged friend.

Kelbrook, which was historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, is just 9 miles from Skipton, making this a great base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The village of Foulridge, 2 miles, has a reservoir known as Lake Burwain, or you can take a walk along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal which passes through the village. Pendle Hill is just 9 miles away, or for a more challenging walk why not try Yorkshire's 3 peaks?
There are so many wonderful places to visit within easy driving distance, both coast and country. Should you wish to venture further afield, the Fylde Coast (whose popular resorts include Blackpool and Lytham St Anne's) is around an hour's drive, and the Lake District is just over an hour. Bradford and Manchester are just under an hour's drive and Leeds is around 70 minutes by car. If you prefer to travel by train, there are trains from Colne into Blackpool and Preston, or from Skipton 9 miles into Leeds, Bradford, Carlisle, Lancaster and Morecambe.
