Fern Villa is a 135 year old Victorian house set in 3/4 acre gardens in the village of Goodwick, Fishguard in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire.
We offer spacious and comfortable en-suite 4 star accommodation. Double rooms have fantastic sea views over Dinas Head and the North Pembrokeshire coastline. The twin room looks over the garden as does the single room, (The single room has a spacious private bathroom). All rooms have digital tv, radio and tea & coffee making facilities.Free wifi available. Off road parking. Breakfast is taken in the sun room overlooking the sea and will set you up for the day.
No car? No problem! The newly opened Fishguard & Goodwick train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Local coastal buses will help you link up walks along the coast path.
Fern Villa B&B makes an ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire. We are a 2 minute walk from the 186 mile long coast path, and 5 minutes from the Stena ferry port to Ireland. Take a stroll along the scenic Marine Walk into Lower Fishguard Harbour and relax watching the fishermen and boats, or browse the shops in Fishguard. A short drive away is St Davids with its magnificent cathedral, the beaches of Newport and Tenby. Why not go inland and explore the wooded Gwaun Valley or Preseli mountains. Take a boat trip to Skomer or Ramsey Island and spot the wildlife.
Whether you fancy a lazy weekend or an action packed week then why not base yourselves with us at Fern Villa. We are within easy walking distance of all amenities including excellent pubs and resturants. There is plenty of parking with the bus stop just down the road covering the whole of Pembrokeshire and beyond. We are happy to pick up from the ferry and train station and late arrivals are welcome. We have safe secure storage for bikes and surfboards.
