Glynde Place pop-up campsite is set in the heart of the South Downs National Park near Lewes, East Sussex with easy access to local walks to Mount Caburn, Firle Beacon and the surrounds and a 20 minute drive to access the South Downs Way and the beautiful coastal paths of the Seven Sisters country park, the Cuckmere Haven, Birling Gap and Beachy Head. We are also a 15-30 minute drive to Seaford, Brighton and Eastbourne beaches.
Our campsite offers tent only pitching and we welcomes adults, couples, families, dogs, walkers, cyclists and anyone who likes to enjoy peaceful camping set against the beautiful backdrop of Glynde Place, an Elizabethan Manor House dating back to 1569 with stunning views.
We offer spacious pitches and you can park next to your pitch, self check-in, hot showers, port-a-loo toilets, washing up facilities, local food vendors on site on most weekends and the option to pre-order BBQ and breakfast treats along with other general food supplies from the local village shop. Glynde also has a local tearoom. Logs can be bought on site every evening.
Glynde has it's own station with services to Lewes, Brighton, Eastbourne and London.
