More information
The space
An easy 5 minute walk from the South Downs Way, the 17sqm studio sleeps 2 very comfortably on a double bed on the ground floor. Also within easy walking distance is Amberley Railway Station, two lovely pubs both serving lunch and dinner and a riverside café that caters for breakfast, teas and more recently self-hire river cruises. The George & Dragon is reputedly one of the oldest 3 pubs in Sussex. It has a wealth of charm & character and said to have been a stop-off point for King Charles II following his defeat at the Battle of Worcester. The nearby, pretty village of Amberley has a tea rooms and award winning village stores.
Arundel, Chichester and Petworth are all within easy driving distance. Perfectly located for Goodwood events such as the Festival of Speed, Revival and Glorious Goodwood.
Guest access
Entrance to the Hideaway is from the shared driveway of the main house with paved steps leading up to the double doors.
Interaction with guests
We’re chilled hosts and love meeting new people. Equally, we respect your privacy and can be as discreet as required. Either way, our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible in this beautiful little piece of England!
Other things to note
This is a family home with young children and a very friendly dog so there may be some noise of life nearby. As the parking area is shared we do pass The Hideaway to access the main house but we will do our best to ensure your stay is relaxing, quiet and peaceful! We also respect our neighbours quiet enjoyment of their homes and ask that you do too.
