Offa Dyke House is a bookish guesthouse in Knighton. Set on a hill in the old Knighton conservation area, Offa Dyke House accommodates up to six guests on a dedicated guest floor. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and equipped with every modern comfort. Guest meals are served in the first floor guest dining room, which faces north-west towards Offa’s Dyke — an elevated walking path that runs the length of the Wales-England border. Another major path for walkers, the Glydwr’s Way path, starts just outside the door. Secure parking is provided for cycles and off-street parking for up to two cars. Tariffs per night starts at £49 per room, which includes
- tea or coffee and a freshly baked treat on arrival
- high speed wifi
- off street parking for cars and cycles
- the freshly prepared breakfast of your choice
- in room equipment loan if required: iPhone dock, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, alarm clock/radio.
A home cooked dinner is available at a very reasonable £12 for two courses, and is a popular choice with long-distance walkers.
