Nestled in a beautiful wooded valley, one mile from Abermawr beach and one mile from the hilltop village of Mathry, the ecolodge provides for all your creature comforts and your friendly "home from home" accommodation. Rooms vary from singles, doubles, twins, and family rooms and we also have Glamping in our lovely geodesic Dome. Our resident chef provides all the delicious home-cooked meals with full Welsh breakfasts, packed lunches and hot lunches at the lodge, and hearty evening meals.
The ecolodge is built around a traditional Welsh farmhouse courtyard, with inspirational views down the National Trust valley to the sea. We have a lovely dining room and lounge equipped with a delightful wood-burning stove and the lodge is kept warm and cosy all year round courtesy of our ground source heat pump and wonderful underfloor heating. The lodge has a well-stocked bar including Welsh and Pembrokeshire brews, and teas, herbal teas, coffee and cold drinks are available 24 hours to help yourself. We have a series of lovely local walks right from the lodge which get you out to explore the nearby beaches and coast, as well as the unspoilt National Trust Abermawr woodland and valley. Preseli Venture's awesome adventure activities will get you out and enjoying the amazing wildlife and stunning coastal environment which is right on our doorstep. These activities are run directly from the lodge: try sea kayaking, coasteering and surfing. We also offer our self-guided eco walking holidays on the Pembrokeshire coast path.
Credit cards are accepted and we are easily accessible by public transport with our local train station at Fishguard and Goodwick just 5 miles away, and we are also on coastal bus routes.
