Riverview bed and breakfast is situated on an elevated bank between the Rochdale canal and Calder river, less than a mile along the tow path from Callis Bridge, and is the closest accommodation to the Pennine Way at this point. It enjoys wonderful views of the surrounding hills and woodland that characterise this most southerly part of the Yorkshire Dales. Hebden Bridge town centre is a ten minute walk along the canal, where you can enjoy a vibrant and eclectic mix of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, a theatre and the wonderful, historic Picture House. 

The famous Stubbing Wharf pub with its live music, storytelling, superb food and range of local and artisan ales is a 20 second walk from Riverview, in the other direction -great for weary walkers after a long day’s trek! Alternatively, we’re happy to recommend and book alternative restaurants if you wish to venture in to town.

Riverview has one double and one twin room, each with its own bathroom. We offer a wide range of breakfasts and cater for vegetarian and vegans.  In addition, we’re happy to provide a packed lunch to see you on your way. We have drying facilities if the weather is less than clement and a sun porch to store boots, poles and backpacks. You’re welcome to use the garden where there is a table and chairs overlooking the hillside and woods opposite. 

We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs for a nominal charge of £5.00 per night.
