This tranquil riverside marsh is home to a wide variety of unique wetlands wildlife and makes a fantastic destination for any nature lover.  The marsh, with it's patches of grassland, willow scrub and ponds, makes an ideal habitat for plants such as the Loddon lily and nesting birds such as snipes, wagtails and reed buntings. The river Thames flows nearby and attracts additional wildlife including kingfishers, club-tailed dragonflies and white-legged damselflies.

Access to Cholsey Marsh is via the A329, 2 miles south of the Wallingford bypass. Turn left by Fairmile Hospital on to Ferry Lane and park at the end of the lane on the hard verge. The Ridgeway National Trail runs along the opposite side of the River Thames.
