Church Steps is an old, cobbled path that runs from St Michael's church in the Higher town area to the Middle and Lower town areas of Minehead.
The area is characterised by picturesque, thatched cottages dating back to the 17th Century and has become popular with artists and photographers.
n your left as you look up the steps from the bottom is what was once the Minehead workhouse. Leased in 1731, it was funded by a levy on local businesses.
