You can walk along the dry valley on this circular walk from Malham http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/pennine-way/route/walk-way-day-walk-35-malham-cove-and-tarn-and-goredale-scar. The walk can be shortened by missing out Malham Tarn and following the Malham Landcsape Trail.
