A bustling hub and beacon for regeneration to Folkestone, the harbour arm has been beautifully restored. Originally the railway terminal for the Folkestone to Boulogne ferry and the departure point for soldiers on their way to the Western Front. The arm still watches over the town's working fishing harbour and with its slightly curved promenade out to sea it hosts a true world class view of the English Channel.

The harbour arm is home to a collection of small, independent food and drink businesses giving the arm its unique flavour. Ranging from an onsite bakery and brewery to a coffee unit, a greek bus, tapas and a champagne bar - just to name a few.

Seasonal entertainment and other events take place down on the arm. During the summer there is an open air weekly Sunday artisan market for local businesses. A recently opened drive in cinema, a Christmas market and various music events.
