Kelmscott Manor, a grade 1 Listed Tudor farmhouse adjacent to the River Thames was the inspirational Cotswold retreat of William Morris, Victorian textile designer, poet, novelist & Father of the Arts and Crafts Movement.

The Manor was built in 1570 of local limestone on the edge of the village of Kelmscott.

Kelmscott Manor and Gardens are currently closed for conservation and improvement works, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which will continue throughout 2020/21.
