The Yorkshire Wolds Way passes through the beautiful parkland of the Londesborough Estate.
The Parkland was first laid out in the late 17th Century for the 1st Lord Burlington. Today as you walk through the Parkland you will see the lakes that were designed and built at that time, one of the laid out Avenues and you may make out the location of the original Hall, with its Deer Shelters underneath.
The walk through this site is a lovely experience with the mature trees scattered amongst the pasture.
