The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, started in 1927, runs for 13 1/2 miles folloing the Kent coastline. Join us at any of our stations including the Cinque Port town of Hythe, the family friendly seaside village of Dymchurch, the railway's headquarters at New Romney and the National Nature Reserve at Dungeness.

The RH&DR operate every weekend throughout the year and weekdays from April until October. Locomotives include 11 steam engines and 2 diesels.

Cafe's and gift shops serve most stations as well as play parks and a Model Exhibition at New Romney.
