The RSPB Marshside reserve covers an area of sands and marsh just north of Southport. The marked location is the main car park. Please note that for conservation purposes there are no new coastal access rights on the marsh. Anyone wishing to access the foreshore must stick to the old 'sand-winning' track, with dogs kept on leads at all times.
