One of South Oxfordshire’s most iconic landmarks, the Wittenham Clumps stand proudly beside the Thames to offer stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The Clumps comprise two hills crowned by planted trees - Round Hill and Castle Hill. Castle Hill is the site of an Iron Age hillfort as well as other archaeological features. These two hills can be seen in the distance from The Ridgeway.

This is a public greenspace managed by the Earth Trust.

Car parking available in two locations - Wittenham Clumps car park and Earth Trust Centre car park.
