This was our second traverse of Offa's Dyke Path. Our first was some years ago when we were still working and were only able to walk it in sections. That walk was further disrupted by the outbreak of foot and mouth. This time all went rather more smoothly. We knew the way for a start! We walked the southern section from Sedbury Cliffs to Knighton in 5 days in June 2015 and the northern section from Knighton to Prestatyn in 7 days in July 2015. It was a great experience. Highlights included Pandy to Hay in the Black Moutains, walking alongside Offa's Dyke on Llanfair Hill north of Knighton, walking on the towpath of the Montgomery Canal, and the Clwydians. Great variety and some stunning views every day. Not bad for one almost 70 and one well past 70!
