Four of us arrived in Chepstow on Monday 7th Sept and stretched our legs by walking to Sedbury Cliffs (and back) then we were joined by the 5th member of our merry band to start the ODP in earnest. We stayed in a range of B&Bs, a few pubs and met lots of delightful hosts who fed us 14 cooked breakfasts and (some) supplied us with healthy packed lunches to keep us going. The weather was, mostly, very good; we only wore full rain gear a couple of times and had plenty of sunshine so we got terrific views of the hills, valleys and villages. Our feet and legs held up and we finished in style on Monday 21st with champagne and chocolate chip cookies on the beach at Prestatyn! It was a challenging walk for 5 'oldies' keeping fit but challenge completed in good humour - enough said!Highlights apart from scenery - a slight detour to Powys Castle - fab!Angela, Steve, Peter, Karen & Terry
