I completed the Offa's Dyke Trail over two weeks in April 2014, walking from Prestatyn to Chepstow. Never having completed any long-distance walks before, the first few days amidst rain and wind over the Clwydian Hills were a challenge - but as the sun came out through mid-Wales the walking became easier, my legs became stronger and the views became better. Once I reached the top of the Beacon Hillfort outside Welshpool, I knew I could do it - and once I got over the legendary "Switchbacks" between Brompton Crossroads and Knighton, I knew I was going to do it.I've posted lots of pictures from the Trek at www.twitter.com/npickupNow I just need to decide which National Trail I do next Easter...
