Muker Village Teashop and Stores

Our Village Store is a little gem. Probably one of the remotest Village Stores in England we work with and rely on wonderful local suppliers to keep us stocked up, so that we can have everything you will need to enjoy your holiday in Swaledale.

Whilst we stock essential Groceries we also specialise in Yorkshire and Dales made Produce.

Local milk, Free Range Eggs from Muker, Swaledale and Wensleydale Cheese, Grumpy Mule Coffee, Glendale Ginger Wine, Yorkshire Dales Brewing Company Ale, Yorkshire Crisps and Swaledale Honey are just a few of the local products

We also have a good selection of OS Maps, Local guidebooks, Postcards and Gifts.

If you’re out for a walk we can provide you with everything you need for a packed lunch or picnic including soft drinks, homemade snacks and sandwiches.

    Brandy Mincemeat
    Fruitcake made with Old Peculier Ale
    Fruitcake made with Glendale Ginger Wine & Whisky

    Chocolate Brownies & Other Tray Bakes
    Sausage Rolls

For those taking a Cottage break, grocery orders can be placed over the phone or via e-mail and collected from the Store.

We can also offer daily Newspapers but be warned they do not arrive until around lunchtime! We regret we cannot take telephone orders for papers nor can we take vouchers but please call into the Store and we will gladly order them for you.
