The Eagle is a traditional country pub set in the picturesque village of Great Hockham.
Serving 5 real ales. Walkers, families & well behaved dogs are always welcome. Food served weekday lunchtimes, plus all day Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Close to Thetford Forest and the Peddars Way, children and dogs are welcome and in addition to the outdoor seating at the front of the pub we have an enclosed rear brickweave courtyard too.
We pride ourselves on our selection of real ales, lagers and wines and the quality has been independently recognised by Cask Marque, who checked all our cask ales for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste and gave the Eagle got the top score of 100% on both visits and were awarded a 'Certificate of Excellence'.
Food is served Monday – Thursday, midday til 2pm, Fridays & Saturdays midday til 9pm, Sundays midday til 6pm and they have the top Food Hygiene rating of ‘5’.
We take credit cards, you can settle up with your MasterCard, Maestro, or Visa 'chip & pin' card and request cashback.
We offer free Wi-Fi, so you can surf the internet, check your email and keep up to date with all your social networks whilst enjoying a drink or something to eat.
