A village inn since circa 1650, The Olde Windmill Inn has been run by the Halls family for over 55 years and has built its reputation on serving fine food and country portions at competitive prices from an extensive menu with changing weekly specials, plus six real ales, six draught beers and ciders and six draught lagers. We are located only just off the beaten track, outside the country village of Great Cressingham at Waters End(twixt Watton and Swaffham), with easy access from the A1065, B1108, B1077 and A47.
The rambling Olde Windmill Inn has three bars, plus seven separate dining/family areas, all steeped in history and “Olde World” charm. The lawn and patio can accommodate up to ninety people, and includes children’s play area with climbing and activity equipment.
At The Olde Windmill Inn we also offer two (five van) Caravan Club C.L. sites, discreetly located in the grounds; The Water Meadow (across from the pub) and The Windmill Paddocks (at the rear of the pub), both have access to laundry and shower facilities.
Also, recently added - our Fourteen new en-suite bedrooms. Furnished to an excellent standard, this offers another great way to stay and enjoy the picturesque countryside and The Olde Windmill Inn.
