This link route between Avebury and the end/start of the Trail at Overton Hill is for walkers only. It is useful for people travelling in/out of Avebury in a car or bus since it links to the bus stop and car park in the village.
The route takes in several key historic features of the World Heritage Site, including the stone circle, Silbury Hill, the Avenue and the Sanctuary.
Some parts of the route use permissive footpaths provided by the National Trust. Note that the public footpath along the river can be wet/muddy.
