Rural stretch of the National Cycle Network route 403 linking Chippenham, with its mainline train station, and Calne to Avebury. Following a combination of rural roads and off-road routes, pass through small woods, fields and small villages. As you pass through Cherhill village, look up to the Cherhill monument on the hills - this monument can also be seen from The Ridgeway but much further away.
